One of the events of major significance in the story of the Spanish art is the appearance of the so-called mudejar style. It is a mixture of Christian and Muslim artistic movements (Romanesque, gothic and renaissance) at that time between the XII and XVI centuries. It is an artistic movement typical of the Iberian Peninsula. The present work of art, which has eight points and repetitive motifs, takes up the whole surface of the piece. Its distinctive characteristic is the eclecticism; the mixture of elements taken from the Hispanic-Muslim and Christian architecture.
